Genetica 3.0 Open Beta 5.1

 Spiral Graphics have opened the beta test of their seamless texture, HDRI, and animation editor to the public. The beta can be freely downloaded from Spiral Graphics website. Features added to the new version include seamless vector drawing tools, editable visual styles that can be applied to designs, HDRI environment map editing, a realistic new lighting model, new nodes and effects, and an expanded library of royalty-free texture presets.
Beta Release History
- September 12, 2008: Beta 5.1 - Fixed some crashing issues.
- September 11, 2008: Beta 5.0 - First open beta release.
Genetica 3.0 requires the Microsoft .NET Framework (a component of Windows) to be installed on your computer. Newer computers will already have it installed, otherwise the Genetica installer may ask if you would like it to automatically download and install the .NET Framework for you.
