 NVIDIA announced the immediate availability of new graphics drivers for NVIDIA GeForce GPU owners running the new Windows 7 Beta. Today’s availability represents the start of regular NVIDIA driver updates for the forthcoming operating system from Microsoft. Windows 7 will be the first Windows operating system to fully integrate and take advantage of the GPU for both graphics and parallel computing.

This month sees the start of yet another great ‘super series’ in 3DCreative – this time we’re talking gothic church interiors, for which 5 wonderful artists will talk us through the principal techniques used in building a church interior. And to make things slightly more interesting, we also welcome a modo artist to the series, in the form of Robert Bergh.

 Section 8 is an upcoming first person shooter and original IP developed by TimeGate Studios and published by SouthPeak Interactive. It utilizes the Unreal Engine 3 and will be on PC and next-generation consoles. Section 8 will allow players to dynamically alter the flow of combat as they see fit, employing tactical assets and on-demand vehicle deliveries. It is scheduled to be released during the fourth-quarter of 2009.
